| This image is borrowed from Raphael's "Baldassare Castiglione" of c.1528. Castiglione was a contemporary and friend of Raphael's and wrote a book titled (in English here) "The Book of the Courtier" which provided its readers with a dialogue that illustrated the art of scholarly, eloquent conversation. This image is 18" w x 24" h. and comes with its ornate gold frame. |
