This table was built in the late 1950s and its design is based
on a wagon seat. The table's dimensions are 22" x 40", with
overall height of 18". The main image is taken from Frederic
Remington's 1889 oil painting,
A Dash for the Timber.
The image of the Winchester rifle is wood-burned and painted on two planes of the table, and represents a rifle from Frederic Remington's period. The 'wood'
portion of the rifle is the actual table grain. (Link to the coordinating
Cowboy End Table.) The original text on the table has been replaced with the words, "Remington and Winchester".
