Picasso's Couple Box
by Shirley Marie Dees |
|
| |
This box borrows the image from Picasso's The Couple c.
1903, from what is known as his "blue period." The quote
surrounding the sides of the box is from the contemporary poet,
Mary Sterling Bailey, and reads: "Only in silent companionship
is the true meaning of friendship." |
